A MODERN POOL HOME – There are some homes where the interior design is so powerful in its statement it almost feels like the interior designers wanted you beaten into submission with their concept. Luckily with this home the interior designers were able to make a statement that is laid upon you like silk sheets covering a bed – it’s there, but its so soft, so smooth and so inviting that you simply want to pull up a chair and meditate. There are not many interiors that could boast this attribute.
A modern home, for me, is many things, but most of all simplicity. I don’t like noisy interiors with the over use of bright colors – they simply command too much attention. A modern home is supposed to be soothing and functional, a place where the family and guests feel totally at ease… be prepared for a jaw-dropping experience of this stunning modern pool home.

Stunning view of the Pool on this beautiful Modern Pool Home.
When I first saw this Modern Pool Home I simply fell in love as it borders on sheer perfection. The architects and designers are a real credit to their profession as they created a home that flows from the inside and out with complete synergy.
The interior design uses a careful mixture of soft natural colors that are enhanced with dark earthen colors giving the sense of both definition and purpose. I would challenge anyone to come up with something better than this as a home you could truly relax in.

The use of lighting in the home is very well thought out. It provides lighting where it is needed that lifts all the furnishings and fabrics in the room. While I am not a fan of bright colors, such as oranges and reds, the cushions and foot stool just give that extra lift, which is just so complimentary to the natural coloration of the room.
Wonderful space for relaxing and socializing.
The idea of having a room that you can socialize in, and I don’t mean whipping out your laptop to view your social networks, is for me a real pleasure to see. Having a room where you can sit down with friends and family and talk about daily life is sorely missing in our modern time and this room is making a serious attempt to revive the art of conversation.
Fabulous Dining area with modern dining room furnishings.
The contrast of the chunky dining room table with the almost flimsy looking modern dining room chairs works perfectly. This is such a great place to eat as you not only feel involved with the activities from the kitchen behind (see photograph below) you also get to view the stunning scenery beyond the patio doors.

The entire Dining / Kitchen experience is just wonderful. Everything is just so soft with warmth added through the use of the wooden floors, dining table and doors. Don’t miss out on the artwork on the wall – notice how well this blends into the room as if it was placed to make a statement without being the focal point.
Exterior dining area with patio furniture that is just incredible.
When it comes to patio furniture their is a vast range to choose from but I am going to take my hat off to the owners here because I don’t think you could have picked a more perfect patio dining set than shown here. It almost appears flimsy, even to the point where you would question whether the table top could hold the weight of the center piece on the table.
For me this patio dining set makes a defined modern statement without detracting for the rest of the beauty within the area.
Black and White Bedroom design that is broken with the soft natural browns.
Most people shy away from the Black and White interior design concept. It’s a shame really as both are base colors and you can put anything you like with them. Note carefully here that the white elements are only found is certain aspects of the room, for instance the chest of draws, the fabric for the chair and parts of the bed coverings. The Black or very Deep Brown carpet ties all the lighter browns and whites together and thus produce a very relaxing and crisp feel to the room.
Beautiful and minimalist bathroom design.
Is this a minimalist home? No is the answer, there is simply too much going on for it to be a minimalist design. However there are certain areas, such as the bathroom above that does err on the minimalist design concept. Overall this is a stunning bathroom with simplistic fittings and wonderful use of wall and floor tiling that gives depth and character to the bathroom.
Stunning modern art greets you through the entrance hallway.
If I had come knocking at this door and been greeted by what I see above I could have been sorely tempted with whipping out my wallet and asking how much they wanted for the home. For me there are just some things that most people over look but not with the owners of this home. The simply stunning contemporary modern art adds just a spectacular element of color which just enhances the whole idea of a modern home.
So many interiors would benefit if only a little consideration was given to either contemporary art or even abstract art. Trust me… just one piece could really transform an entire interior into a feast for the eyes.
Bright and airy entrance hall.
Here we have view from the entrance hall looking down into the open plan living, dinner and kitchen areas. Again, notice how well the single piece of modern contemporary art lifts the entire feel of the interior design.
Upper landing hallway that is defined by strong dark and light colors.
Of all the upper hallways you could see this has to be one of the best you may ever feast your eyes upon. Look how well the contemporary lighting works with the Dark Brown wall and the black / dark brown carpeting. Once again sheer brilliance of interior design kicks in with the introduction of more art, this time abstract art, of which colors add a whole new dimension to the space.
I simply cannot leave without a mention to the wrought iron balustrade – it is modern, yet old world and fits perfectly with the whole effect.
Underground parking puts vehicles safely out of sight.
This modern pool home even boasts underground parking which is a very nice security feature. Looking at the photograph below one can truly appreciate the vast space available in the parking area / basement, which gives the occupants so many options, such as a recreation room or even a hobby room while still leaving sufficient space for parking.

You have just witnessed nothing less than sheer brilliance on behalf of the owners, architects and interior designs. The vision of creating a truly modern pool home has been achieved in spectacular fashion where everything fits together creating a home that is relaxing, colorful and social.
