Watering Tools for Your Garden

WATERING TOOLS FOR YOUR GARDEN – Our gardens use an awful lot of water and considering we are all aware that saving water is paramount we need to seriously consider how we water our lawns and flowers.

This may seem a little overwhelming at times but I can assure you that watering your lawn or flower beds is really not that difficult and with a little careful thought into the methods and tools you use will not only save water but save you a lot of cash on your water bills.

My first suggestion is always to install a Water Butt.  This is such an easy way to collect your own water and it’s completely free.  My next suggestion would be to find out more about your garden and the types of plants you have – did you know that there are lots of varieties of plants that do not require much water?  Planting a garden with these will help to reduce the amount of water you use, saves you money and saves you from having to work too hard maintaining your garden.

As for the watering tools for your garden… There are some really good devices, such as sprinkler heads with timers – so that you don’t over water your garden.  There are also telescopic poles, with adjustable watering heads, so it’s easier to water those plants at the back of your flower beds.

Take a look at the video above as this provides you with information on a number of watering tools for your garden that will help you to make the job easier and save the amount of water you use.

I agree, it can be a chore to haul water around and yet there are so many ways to make it easier and really, I think they do a better job because it is slow and steady. Thanks for bringing these great options to my attention. Dee
